A LITTLE EXTRA

Little bits that make you think

.

Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.

Here's something to practice...

Did you know that your brain cannot tell the difference between you visualising yourself doing something and physically doing it???  The key is the imagination.  We are in the age of imagination!  Visualise yourself using pictures doing whatever it is you want to achieve... be it riding a bike, sailing a ship, practicing a difficult posture, or learning something new.
Always look at your desired outcome and see yourself actually doing it and not the ‘I can't do, not good enough, I feel silly’, sound familiar?

So develop this art to help progress your movements!  For example before going into a posture as well as doing it, visualise yourself doing it beautifully and effortlessly... do this often for postures you find difficult.... learn to enjoy them!
Sitting quietly, or whenever you have a chance, you can create this technique.  But of course you have to believe in the power of what is taking place.

“See it to believe it”

When your visualisations become powerful and clear you can even practice them in bed...now there's an incentive!

This has been used many times with great success for people that have been in accidents or are unable to move well, etc. to heal and recover quickly or just to straight out improve your technique.

"If you can conceive it and believe it, you can achieve it"

DID YOU KNOW that being rich is not all about money

We have all heard the phrase "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer". Do you know why that is?

There's a line in a song from one of my favourite bands from the 80's, The Jam, that goes:
"The weak get crushed while the strong grow stronger".

Go a lot further back and you'll find it in the bible too:
"To he that hath, more shall be given. To he that hath not yet more shall be taken away".

If you look around you the evidence is everywhere but why does it happen that way?

What do the rich focus on?
They focus on wealth, abundance, their dreams and aspirations - GOALS!

What do the poor focus on?
They focus on lack. How bad things are, their problems and how badly they have been treated.

That's why it's so important to be vigilant with the thoughts you allow into your mind. Consciously keep your mind off the things you don't want and on the things you do want.

Please keep in mind though that "Rich" is not all about money. Having abundance in all the key areas of your life is that elusive 'Life Balance' we hear about so often.

The four key areas to work on are:

Career and Finances            Health and Fitness

Personal Development          Relationships/ Community

Learning = Earning

RELATIONSHIPS:
You can completely transform any relationship,
no matter what it's like right now.

Every single relationship you have is a reflection of how you feel inside about you. You are a magnet attracting to you all things, via the signal you are emitting through your thoughts and feelings. Every relationship you have and every interaction with every person, is a reflection of your own thoughts and feelings in that very moment.

To transform every single relationship you have in your life:

  • Fall in love with YOU!
    (you must love yourself deeply).

  • Make lists of hundreds and hundreds of wonderful things about you. Keep adding to it every day.

  • Know that you are perfect.
(do not think any negative thoughts about you).

  • Know that you are worthy and deserving of anything and everything you could possibly want in your life.

  • Focus on the wonderful things in every person. Look for only those things.

  • Do not blame or criticize anybody, ever.

  • Set an intention that you are going to see the best in everything and everyone.

  • Make your happiness the number one thing in your life.
    (Happiness is an inside job.)

  • Free yourself of the responsibility of trying to make other people happy
(respect and love them enough to allow them to take care of their own happiness).

  • Get your attention off those things in others that don't make you feel good.

  • Appreciate and love yourself in every moment you can.

  • Do not expect others to behave in a way you want, so you will be happy. Release yourself forevermore and know that you alone control your happiness and it is a choice, no matter what anyone else is doing.

  • Love and respect yourself completely.

  • Know that you are PERFECT right now.
